If you like it, we send a fixed quote for the rest. If not, there's no cost. We take on a few previews each month, and only where we think we can genuinely improve on what you have.
One person, start to finish. Fieldnote is a one-person studio run by a high-school student in Sydney, so the person who quotes your site designs it, builds it and answers when something needs changing. Replies come within one business day, mostly after 3:30pm on weekdays and on weekends.
Yes. Our packages are a set, one-time price for the design and build, published on the pricing page. If you want something different, the free custom quote prices exactly what you need, for example a Starter site plus a gallery, and shows your price at the end; we then confirm the scope and send a fixed quote. The amount you pay is exactly the amount on the quote you accept. Standard projects never go above $1,499.
Domain registration, hosting, paid plugins or booking tools, email accounts and ongoing maintenance are separate, and are usually paid directly to those providers. Online stores, memberships and custom software are outside the standard packages. Each quote lists inclusions, exclusions and any ongoing costs before you accept.
We confirm a timeline in your quote once we know the scope. Timing depends mostly on how quickly content (logo, photos, text) arrives, so we don't promise a launch date before that.
