The Alcove Coffee House
Demo conceptA concept site for a fictional Lane Cove coffee shop: a drawn coffee counter, a simple menu, morning hours and call-ahead orders. This is a fictional business: the name, details and copy are ours, made to show what a site like this can look like.
The brief
- Make the short morning hours impossible to miss
- Give a small shop a confident look before it has photos
- Let offices call ahead for big coffee orders
Design decisions
- A blueprint-style line drawing of the counter instead of stock photos
- One hot orange accent on a paper-and-navy palette
- A big-order enquiry form that asks how many coffees
